BANKHOTEL hosted the Ukrainian-Israeli summit “Physical and Psychological Rehabilitation in Ukraine. Israeli experience – UIRS 2023”.
The Ukrainian-Israeli Rehabilitation Summit is a platform for the development and implementation of a comprehensive plan for physical and psychological rehabilitation based on many years of Israeli experience, as well as for dialogue and exchange of ideas on shaping the post-war future and restoring Ukraine. Participants of the event: representatives of the public sector, innovative medical centers, international financial institutions and charitable foundations, doctors, scientists, businessmen, and technology companies from both countries.
Event organizer: The Embassy of the State of Israel in Ukraine, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel, the Center for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel, the Ministry of Health of Israel, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Welfare of Israel, and the Ministry of Economy and Industry.
During the opening ceremony, Israeli First Lady Michal Herzog addressed the Ukrainians and promised support.
“Israel has been gaining experience in both military and civilian rehabilitation for many years. And we are ready to share it with countries and nations that have experienced the horrors of war. I am very proud that Israeli rehabilitation specialists have conducted trainings for thousands of Ukrainian colleagues. I am glad that friendship exists between our peoples and that Israel will continue to support Ukrainians in need,” Herzog said.
