ABOUT BANKHOTEL
The hotel is located in Lviv in a reconstructed building of the former Austro-Hungarian bank in the historic part of the city.
The main designing idea is the maximum preservation of the historical appearance of the building as an architectural monument.
The elements of the interior that weren’t changed fundamentally, include:
- lobby with marble staircases and stained-glass windows;
- ceramic flooring in the lobby on the ground floor and in the hall on the first floor;
- wall decoration with authentic eaves.
The author of designs for the unique interiors of rooms is Olga Ryabova. The author used graphic compositions of French modernist artists to create them. In particular, special artistic works by Serge Gladkyi and Eduard Benediktus, executed in screen printing technique. Due to this, each room has its magnificent and unique abstract pattern. The main color of the abstraction sets the color of the whole room and allows you to feel the special artistic atmosphere of the beginning of the twentieth century.
